For those who upload videos to YouTube, interactive cards are a great tool to complement and spread the content of your channel while making your clips more interactive for users.
These cards add to your annotations and allow you to add additional information or links to other videos or external sites related to the content.
If used properly, they can be handy; however, their abuse often makes them a nuisance and a distraction for viewers, especially if their presence is added to the ads that appear at the bottom of the clips.
End cards can be annoying and cause a distraction to the viewer. The end card is the video’s final screen, and as such, it’s customary to contain some information about the product, service, or brand. But sometimes, they can be distracting and take away from the viewing experience.
The good news is, if you don’t like them appearing in videos, you can very quickly disable those pesky end cards. Here, we are going to see how to do it.
In the case of advertisements and annotations, all you have to do is click on the “x” that appears in the upper right corner to close them one by one.
If you prefer to disable all annotations and cards at once, but only for a specific video while it is playing, click on the configuration button (the gear located in the lower right part of the player) and select Option No in the Annotations section.
Finally, if you do not want any annotations or interactive cards to appear in any clip, go to your account’s settings menu (find it by clicking on the thumbnail of your photo in the upper right corner of the screen). Here, go to the Playback section and deactivate the Info cards option by removing the checkmark from the box.
Ready, so you will no longer see those boxes that cause you annoyance or prevent you from seeing the content of your video on the full screen.
It is essential to say that activating or deactivating this alternative from your PC is only possible.
